Director Jessica Habie's Mars at Su nrise is the day's second UK premiere - a dramatic re-imagining of the ar rest of Palestinian artist Hani Zurob.\n\n \;\n\nJust Play\, a Europea n premiere\, a film that sidesteps politics to make a powerful case for hu man dignity and art\, follows Joshua Baker's The Process\, examining the role of the peace process in the lives of individuals\, an instructive and powerful documentary. The Shebabs of Yarmouk\, a portrait of permanent friendship\, and lives permanently on hold\, will also be screened\, as we ll as two short films: Omar Robert Hamilton's Though I Know The River Is Dry and Nicolas Damun's darkly comedic Maqloubeh.\n\n \;\n\nFounded in 2000\, the East End Film Festival is one of the UK’s largest film fes tivals.
