SUMMARY:One year on - Children in Military Custody report 
DESCRIPTION:On June 26th 2012 an independent legal report into the treatmen
 t of Palestinian child prisoners by the Israeli authorities was published.
  The report was funded by the UK Foreign Office and followed a trip to Pal
 estine &amp\; Israel by a team of high-ranking UK lawyers from the fields 
 of human rights\, crime and child welfare\, who travelled to Israel and th
 e Occupied Palestinian Territories to assess the treatment of Palestinian 
 children under Israeli military law.\n\nThe report found Israel in breach 
 of international law &amp\; human rights treaties. It made 40 recommendati

 dy.org/report/\n\nSince then many people have lobbied the Foreign Office t
 o ensure Israel takes the necessary action to bring it into line with inte
 rnational law. In response\, the Foreign Office Minister\, Alistair Burt M
 P\, has said he ‘shared our concerns’ and was ‘disturbed’ by the f
 indings of the report. He says the Foreign Office has been working with th
 e Israeli authorities to bring about change.\n\nSo one year on since the r
