DESCRIPTION:WALK FOR PALESTINE Saturday\, 9 May 2015\n\nWe will meet and we
 lcome you to the John Scurr Community Centre (1A Bekesbourne Street\, Lime
 house\, London E14 7JF) from 11 o’clock onwards. The walk will commence 
 at mid-day or soon after and should end at around 4.00pm depending on whet
 her you stroll\, meander or walk!\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nWho’s Who? Before we set
  out Network members Muhammed Mukhaimar and Elian Pinto will introduce Sum
 ud Palestine and the UK Palestine Mental Health Network and tell you how t
 he money you contribute will be used.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nEliana Pinto\, origina
 lly from Chile\, came to the UK as a political refugee in the 1970s. A ret
 ired NHS consultant psychotherapist\, she now works in private practice in
  London.\n\nMohammed Mukhaimar is a Palestinian-British Psychologist. Born
  and raised in Gaza\, he worked for Gaza Community Mental Health Programm
 e for eight years and led the local crisis intervention team before joini
 ng the mental health service in the UK.  Currently he is based in Cambrid
 ge. He has been involved in promoting the mental health sector and human 
 rights in Palestine since he was graduated from Birzeit University in the 
 West Bank in 1998.\n\nMohammed Mukhaimar and Angela Glendenning co-founded
  Sumud Palestine.\n\nParking There is no parking at the Centre and it is d
 ifficult to find in and around Limehouse. Our walk is not circular and you
  may wish to park in central London and travel from there to Limehouse.\n\
 nThe route Many may be familiar with the South Bank of the River Thames bu
 t not the North Bank from Limehouse to Tower Bridge.  It is a spectacular
  stretch of river where the Thames can look its most majestic.  A limited
  number of Transport for London Thames Path guides will be available (Tran
 sport for London north bank 2 of 4 and 3 of 4).  These describe various l
 andmarks along the way. There is a nice patch of grass outside Tate Modern
 \, possibly a good place to pause for a picnic\, a snack or the loo!\n\nNu
 mbers While we expect some participants to turn up on the day\, it will be
  helpful to have some idea of numbers.  You may email your attendance and
 /or send a donation online at www.sumudpalestine.org.uk.\n\nDirections The
  John Scurr Community Centre is easily accessible via excellent public tra
 nsport routes which service London.  Limehouse Station is on the Dockland
 s Light Railway (DWR) which runs directly to Bank and Tower Gateway statio
 ns where London Underground can be joined. The Centre is only a few minute
 s’ walk from the Limehouse Station.\n\nFor further information contact:\
